On May 3-4, Guro Krishna Godhania visited Stockholm Blade Arts
for a seminar in Sayoc Kali. Among many other things, this seminar

Atienza Kali seminar |
On January 24-25, Stockholm Blade Arts hosted the first public Atienza Kali
seminar with Tuhon Carl Atienza in Scandinavia. Among many other things,
this seminar covered:
- Atienza Kali Sword Evolution 1
- Long sword
- Projectiles
- Improvised weapons (trapo)
- Mass attack

Sayoc Kali seminar |
On December 3-4, Stockholm Blade Arts hosted the third public Sayoc Kali
seminar with Guro Steven Lefebvre in Scandinavia. Among many other things,
this seminar covered:
- Projectiles
- Non-linear attacks
- Stick grappling
- Transition drill 3
- FMA conditioning drills
- Sayoc Kali "Phase Two"

Hochheim Knife/Stick/Unarmed Combatives seminar |
On October 7-9, W. Hock Hochheim returned to Stockholm
for a Knife/Stick/Unarmed Combatives seminar.
This excellent seminar focused on the basic skills and tactics
of the SFC Close Quarter Combatives Course, but it also contained
more advanced material such as Knife/Counter-Knife Combatives
Level 4-5 and stick grappling.

Hochheim Knife/Counter-Knife seminar |
On April 15-17, W. Hock Hochheim visited Stockholm Blade Arts
for another Knife/Counter-Knife Combatives seminar.
The seminar focused on the requirements for Basic Instructorship in
Knife/Counter-Knife Combatives, i.e. Level 1-3 in the course.
The participants were also introduced to the Unarmed, SDMS and
Gun/Counter-Gun combatives courses. Among other things, this
excellent seminar covered:
- The Combat Stress Quick Draw Module
- The Saber Slash Module
- The Reverse Grip Slash Module
- Parts of the Chain of the Knife Module
- Parts of the In the Clutches Of Module
- Knife grappling and ground fighting
- Unarmed vs. the knife techniques
- Gun disarms and close quarter gun tactics

Sayoc Kali seminar |
On October 23-24, Stockholm Blade Arts had the great pleasure
to host another Sayoc Kali seminar with Guro Steven Lefebvre.
Among other things, this exciting seminar covered:
- #3 of 9 vital template (with variations)
- #3 of 9 tapping
- Stress/adrenaline drills
- Stick grappling
- Transition drill 1 isolations
- Feeder-based mentality

First Aid course: Knife Wounds |
A First Aid course focused on knife wounds and penetrating trauma.
In this course, participants were taught life-saving skills such as
knife wound treatment, bandaging techniques, bleeding control,
shock management, rescue breathing and CPR. The course was taught by
a military medicine instructor from the Swedish Red Cross.

Hochheim Knife/Counter-Knife seminar |
W. Hock Hochheim - Military, civilian self defense, police, security and
martial trainer and consultant - visited Stockholm Blade Arts for an excellent
two-day Knife/Counter-Knife Combatives seminar on June 5-6 2004.
In this seminar Hochheim taught practical, no-nonsense knife fighting
techniques and tactics, as well as unarmed versus the knife material, from the
basic, advanced and expert levels of the Scientific Fighting Congress (SFC)
10 level Knife/Counter-Knife Course. There were also special sessions on knife
ground fighting and stick fighting/stick grappling.

Sayoc Kali seminar |
The first - but definitely not the last - public Sayoc Kali seminar in
Scandinavia. Guro Steven Lefebvre (Kayan Dalawa Guro Sayoc Kali) visited
Stockholm Blade Arts for a highly appreciated two-day seminar in Sayoc Kali -
The Art of the Blade.
